Route 3

Norwich to Coldham Hall, Surlingham (one-way trip)

Our longest trip takes follows the same route as the others; through Thorpe St Andrews, where you have a choice of riverside pubs for lunch or a drink and onto The Water’s Edge, Bramerton. After that you paddle along a lovely stretch of the river, passing some amazing houses and winding towards the Ferry House Pub.

The final section takes you towards Surlingham where you can explore Surlingham Broad along with a network of smaller waterways. This is well worth the extra effort and a ‘must-see’ for nature-lovers. You will be sure to see a variety of wildlife and might come face to face with an elusive otter. The river takes you to Coldham Hall where you can tie up the canoes and enjoy a well earned rest.
