Charity Paddle 29/10/21 – Pay What You Want

Autumn Charity PaddleWe are organising a charity paddle from Norwich to the Water’s Edge in Bramerton (Route 2) on Friday 29 October! The paddle is to support one of the Water’s Edge staff, Lee Sloyles, who is walking from Land’s End to Norwich in aid of Headway Norfolk and Waveney – a charity that aims to make a difference to the lives of people living with brain traumas.

This is a “Pay What You Want” canoe trip so it is completely up to you how much you would like to donate! The usual cost for this route is £25/person and £12.50/children. All money raised will be donated to Lee’s GoFundMe page.

If you would like to join this charity paddle you can book a canoe as normal – you will need to pay the usual deposit which is 25%. When you arrive on Friday we will refund you this deposit and we will ask for your charity donation at the end of your trip once you’ve finished at the Water’s Edge 🙂

As is normal with Route 2, you will need to make your own way back to Norwich/home at the end so either drop a car at the Water’s Edge in the morning or take a taxi.

Please note that for this event the deposit is non-refundable and in case of no-show or cancellation your deposit will be added to the donations. Your booking cannot be moved to another day; we are organising this to support Headway Norfolk and Waveney and it is a one-time event.
