Route 1: Norwich to Thorpe St Andrew – return trip.

Route 1 takes you along the River Wensum past Norwich cathedral, the Norwich City football ground and the old Colman’s mustard factory. You will soon escape the city and reach some glorious countryside. As you approach the beautiful village of Thorpe St Andrew you will pass some amazing houses and find a choice of riverside pubs. You can tie your kayak up at the village green with minimal fuss and leave them in the water while you take a well earned rest. After a relaxing and refreshing break, turn the kayak around and paddle back to Norwich.
