Route 1: Norwich to Thorpe St Andrew – return trip.

Our shortest trip takes you along the River Wensum past Norwich cathedral, the Norwich City football ground and even the Colman’s mustard factory. You will soon escape the city and reach some glorious countryside as well as the Whitlingham Broad. As you approach the beautiful village of Thorpe St Andrew you will pass some amazing houses and find a choice of riverside pubs. You can tie your canoes up at the village green with minimal fuss and leave them in the water while you take a well earned rest. After a relaxing and refreshing break, turn the canoes around and paddle back to Norwich.
